5 Steps to Celebrate Success

5 Steps to celebrate success (the Bloom way) 🌸

The importance of maintaining a positive mindset...

I’ve learned that staying mentally fit and keeping your mindset positive is crucial. Because did you know – according to Google – that of our 60,000 thoughts a day, 85% are negative and 95% are repeated from the day before? Given that we can only process one thought at a time, how you respond to that is very important.

How to take a moment..

So, it’s about changing our mindsets and increasing the positive thoughts on a daily basis, not only so they outweigh the negative, but also so those repeated thoughts are positive too. With that in mind, here’s a little exercise I like to go through to help with this – and (funnily enough!) it spells out ‘Bloom’!

🌸 1) Breathe! This is always a good starting point…

🌸 2) Look around you – take a moment to absorb and appreciate your surroundings.

🌸 3) Open your mind to all possibilities.

🌸 4) Observe something you have recently achieved (even if it’s something small).

🌸 5) Mark it in your mind as a success and give yourself a high-five!

Time to use the positive energy...

Celebrating the wins, talking positively and recognising good outcomes creates pleasure in what we are doing and raises both motivation and productivity. As such, taking a moment to run through a thought process like the one above can really help with this. Drive out the negativity and celebrate the successes!
